Program Description
IOU Finance LLC ("IOU," "we," "us") sends SMS messages to users of the IOU Platform who have provided a valid U.S. mobile phone number during account registration. All messages are transactional in nature. IOU does not send promotional or marketing SMS messages.
Types of Messages

Total message volume varies based on the number of active agreements. Users with active agreements may receive up to 5–10 messages per month.
How You Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and completing phone verification during IOU account registration, you consent to receive SMS messages from IOU Finance LLC for the purposes described above.
Consent to receive SMS is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services. However, SMS-based phone verification is required to activate payment features, as it is part of our identity verification and security process.
By proceeding with phone verification, you confirm that: you are the account holder or have the account holder's permission for the number provided; you are at least 18 years of age; and you consent to receive automated SMS messages from IOU Finance LLC at the number provided.
Opt-Out and Help
To stop non-essential SMS notifications: Reply STOP to any IOU message. You will receive one final confirmation, after which payment reminder and alert messages will cease. Phone verification codes will continue to be sent as needed for account security. You may re-enable notifications in the IOU app settings at any time.

Rates and Carriers
Msg & data rates may apply. IOU Finance LLC does not charge for SMS messages. Your mobile carrier may charge for messages or data depending on your plan. Contact your carrier for details.
IOU SMS is supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. IOU Finance LLC is not responsible for undelivered messages due to carrier limitations.
Privacy
Your mobile phone number is used solely to send the messages described above. IOU Finance LLC does not sell, share, or rent your phone number to third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Changes to These SMS Terms
IOU Finance LLC may update these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be noted by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, by in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
